Monday 17th back to Brisbane!

On the road again..

We spent the morning being a bit lazy in bed with the cat which was nice. After this bags packed and we were off! Sort of.. Laura had seen a very nice dress in a window so we went to check it out. Turned out it was horrible but we found a nicer one. 

This also wasn't bought due to the zip down the front.

Oh well we carried on mooching around the shops for a few hours and finally found a lovely white dress that Laura loves as it makes her look very tanned! (Photo to come!) 

Best part was it was on sale from $49 to $15 which we loved even more! Laura now a very happy person we jumped back in the car and headed for brissy. Luckily we got another couch surf with Myall and Amy who we stayed with before!  The drive was fairly uneventful (except for this car! Which is a G-Wizz van!!) 

The satnav was a nightmare in Central brisbane directing us all over the place and over a toll bridge. Great! 

We eventually got where we wanted to be and had a good catch up! We also got offered dinner and had Pad Thai which was gorgeous! Something we plan to have a go at ourselves! (Watch out Deb and Ian!) After this we got introduced to another new board game called dominion which seemed really complicated but then we really got into it as it was a strategy game which was good fun! We played for about an hour before Laura saw Georgia had replied to her message on Facebook about being in Brisbane. We found out she was going to stay at the YHA  and knew where that was so arranged to meet there! It was great to finally meet Georgia and we had a great time chatting about all sorts in a very overtired fashion as she hadn't slept in 2 days! The hostel was well deserved and once we realised it was 11:30 let her go to bed before her train at 5am the next day!

Good news we are going back to Grafton! In a few days we plan to hit Grafton to see Georgia again with her Ozzie farm family & to get Laura a haircut finally after more than a year! (Don't get too excited Steff!)

So with that we headed back for our couch bed for the night and passed maccas on the way.. We both looked at each other and knew what was needed. A drive through for 30c cones. Yes they were even more amazing at 11:45 in the evening! 

After this we crashed out in bed after finding out we had a 7am start because Amy had music students in! Erugh...
